BMW Of North America Lead VA Specialist in WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey

The Lead Vehicle Administration Specialist is responsible for customer experiences and actively interacting with team, customers, vendors, and dealerships while managing specific business needs and responsibilities, under the direction of the Vehicle Administration East Supervisor. The selected candidate will ensure a reliable and cost-efficient fleet of vehicles to support the Company Car program.

Key responsibilities:
Manage 300 BMW and MINI pre-productions from import through up fit or recycle for all of US, ensuring system updates and full compliance with all US Custom regulation requirements.
Manage pre-production, internal fleet, and company vehicle recycle process from vendor procurement, vendor management, confirmation of recycle/scrap that meets AG and federal/state requirement.
Build and/or source BMW, MINI or Motorrad vehicles for BMW Group employees and retirees as well as all Motorrad non-employee usage such as marketing, press, etc.
Manage the remarketing process for all national motorcycles from trucking to vendor, ensuring sales processing back to BMW.
Assist local VA Supervisor with inventory pipeline management and supply chain activities; starting with timely building and sourcing of vehicles and tracking aged inventory in assigned dealer code.
Schedule trucking if needed, to BMW or MINI dealerships for scheduled exchanges.
Schedule trucking as required for pre-production vehicles going to BMW Group events. Work with the security team and trucking vendors to adhere to BMW Group policy on pre-production vehicles and their respective security levels..
Coordinate with dealership staff on ensuring vehicle arrival, employee, or retiree exchange, returned vehicle location and condition, pricing and sale of returned vehicle.
Coordinate the titling and registration of scheduled exchanges with the local Title/Plater.
Contact and provide payment for company car program related expenses (e.g towing expenses, flat tire invoices, etc.)
Coordinate with BMW Controlling and BMW Group's insurance processor to determine if fleet vehicles involved in accidents should be repaired or recycled.
Manages and coordinates repairs of all company vehicles with the National Workshop, BMW/MINI dealership, BMW/MINI Certified Collision Repair Center or local body shop from pick-up through the timely completion of the repair to ensure the shortest downtime for the customer in their vehicle.

The pay range for this role is: $74,731.00 - $86,672.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or certification.
3 to 5 years of prior experience working with customers and providing exceptional experience.
2 to 4 years of work experience in a retail, operations or transportation environment is required.
Driver's license in good standing is a must.

Preferences
Automotive retail experience is preferred in either sales or non-technical service departments.
Able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Outstanding communication skills.
Adaptability and can-do entrepreneurial attitude.
Analytical aptitude.
Ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively across distance with drivers, dealerships, and vendors.
