Kansas Employer HRIS Manager - Workday (Remote Eligible) in Wichita, Kansas

As a Manager of HRIS (Workday), you will be responsible for overseeing the functional side of Workday for the organization. This includes overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the system, as well as ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You will get to manage and support a team of HRIS analysts who are responsible for delivering annual processes and new features that are focused on automation and the end-user experience. You will have a counterpart that supports the technical side of Workday that will focus on integrations, Extend, BIRT, and advanced reporting.

As SNC\'s corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

This role is open to 100% remote work in some states

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with HR and IT to identify and prioritize system requirements and enhancements
  • Managing security permissions and creating a governance around access
  • Ensuring Workday is setup to meet the needs of compliance
  • Managing the bi-annual Workday releases and coming up with a structured approach for new features
  • Leading functional projects to drive automation and process improvements
  • Providing guidance and support to the HRIS analysts
  • Develop and maintaining HRIS best practices and training material
  • Prioritize and implement items on SNC\'s HRIS enhancement list

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Information Systems or related field of study
    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • 5+ years of hands on Workday configuration experience
  • Leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews
  • Background of working in a support function across an enterprise
  • Experience managing a Workday system and HRIS team
  • Knowledge of HR processes and regulations, and the ability to apply them to system design and configuration
  • Experience leading system-related projects, and the ability to manage multiple prioritizes and deadlines

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of managing a Workday HRIS team
  • Aerospace and Defense experience
  • Workday certifications
  • Knowledge in the following Workday areas: Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Workday Docs, Help
