Description

Our client, a leading real estate firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to focus on their Accounts Receivable, to join their Finance and Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be involved in the day to day accounting operations as well as administration duties, as they are a growing organization. The Staff Accountant will be reporting to the Controller, and will be taking on:

-Accounts Receivable--invoicing, collections, customer account maintenance, credit card processing, check depositing and order fulfillment

-Inventory Management, including purchasing, prepping, maintenance and tracking of inventory items

-Accounts Payable, including weekly check run assistance, credit card receipt matching and acting as A/P backup

-Accounting File Maintenance

-Administration Services, including purchasing of kitchen and office supplies, shipping and receiving and coordinating employee meetings and events

The ideal Staff Accountant must be detail oriented, strive to produce only quality work and have strong communication and organization skills. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment. If you're interested, please apply--Thank you!

Requirements

2+ years related work experience

• Flexibility and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, changing work environment

• Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• BSBA or BABA in Accounting or related field preferred
