Aerotek Housekeeping/ EVS/ Janitorial- Hospital in Torrance, California

EVS Aide /Housekeeping/ Janitorial Workers for UCLA hospital- Torrance, CA

  • This is a Long Term Work to hire position- will be converted into a permanent position after 90 days.

Job Duties:

· Performing a range of cleaning tasks like mopping, sweeping, discharging of patients rooms

· Must be comfortable working in an environment with bodily fluids, BLOOD, infectious diseases, and terminal cleaning.

· Will work in all departments, including, ER, OR, NICU/PICU, Trauma, and Psych Ward.

· Cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or common areas, break rooms, bathrooms.

· Distributing linens and tracking the linens used in each department

· Refilling supplies as needed throughout the departments

Available shifts:

  • All candidates must be able to work weekends/holidays without restrictions.

  • 2nd shift = 3pm – 11:30pm

  • 3rd shift = 11pm – 7:30am

Pay is $17.50/hr

After 90 days candidates will be hired on by the Hospital and become eligible for a pay shift differential of +$1-2/hr.
