Enterprise Mobility Labor and Employment Counsel in St. Louis, Missouri
Overview
As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, the Corporate Legal Team is excited to announce the opening of a Labor and Employment Counsel.
The Labor and Employment Counsel will provide legal advice, support and counsel on all aspects of employment law and traditional labor relations to various internal and external stakeholders, including Corporate Human Resources, field HR professionals and management in relation to all aspects of the business operations within the Enterprise Mobility organization.
This is an in-person position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with a potential opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day counsel and advice regarding labor and employment matters to senior leadership, field and corporate HR professionals, establishing credibility as a legal business partner
Create and implement proactive tools for various HR regulatory compliance areas, including Title VII, DOT, OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, FCRA, OFCCP, ADEA, USERRA, NLRA (including state counterparts), state and federal employment discrimination statutes, etc.
Proactively identify trends and gaps in processes, partnering with HR and business clients to implement positive change and avoid claims
Strategically and actively manage employment litigation, charges
Interface with and manage outside counsel as needed
Provide legal support on internal investigations
Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members, and other colleagues

Qualifications
Minimum:
Juris Doctor from accredited law school
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Licensed to practice in Missouri or willingness to obtain Missouri license within 6 months
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employment law in a law firm or as in-house counsel or combination of both, including experience in areas of:
Employment law compliance
All aspects of employee-related litigation, including discovery, motion practice, negotiation, arbitration, and trial
Labor relations experience
Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to listen actively and communicate effectively at all levels and areas within the organization
