We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, adaptability, and be a team player.
Role Overview : As an Administrative Specialist Level II, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations within our organization. Your responsibilities will span various administrative tasks, including document management, time and attendance tracking, and assisting with human capital activities. Your attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and understanding of government procedures will contribute to the smooth functioning of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Office Support : Provide general clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Automated Systems Management : Utilize the Department of Energy's automated time and attendance system and automated travel and training systems.
Report Preparation : Collate information into meaningful reports and presentation materials for decision-making.
Human Capital Activities : Assist the Administrative Officer in coordinating onboarding/off-boarding processes and other human capital-related tasks.
Federal Functions Knowledge : Familiarity with federal functions is advantageous.
Microsoft Office Suite : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Government Procedures : Understand general government documents and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited university or college in the appropriate disciplines
3-5 years of specialized experience
Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance.
Experience with government-specific software or systems.
Strong organizational skills.
