This position has primary responsibility for assisting in designing, deploying and providing services for value-add Cisco Networking solutions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide networking technical support to our customers
Perform incident and problem management resolution
Perform network configuration changes to network switches, routers & firewalls
Troubleshoot network routing issues
Perform IOS upgrades on network routers, switches & firewalls
Basic Qualifications -
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field
At least six (6) months experience supporting solutions such as, integrated MPLS, DMVPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers and Wan Accelerator technologies with experience in Cisco routing, LAN Administration, Firewall Administration and Tool Administration
Other Position Requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of various WAN technologies to include analog and digital circuits, X.25, frame relay, ATM, T-1, DS3, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise level routing and switching technologies
Demonstrated knowledge of IT Service Management including Incident, Change and Problem Management
Demonstrated network problem determination and resolution skills
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications :
One or more of the following Cisco certifications:
CCNP / CCDP
CCNA Wireless / Security
Demonstrated knowledge in at least one advanced network technology (route/switch, unified communications, security, and wireless or data center)
Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX platform
Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco Hardware, Firewall Hardware, Nexus Hardware, Multi-vendor Hardware and Microsoft programs

The position exists to provide technical support and lifecycle consulting solutions to our Managed Services customers and as such requires the ability to interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis. To provide the required coverage, must be willing to work after hours.
