Description

Your tasks as Senior Accountant will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient at analyzing information. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Oil & Gas - Field Svcs field and is located in OKC, Oklahoma.

Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that include journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Requirements
Accounting experience in a publicly-traded company a plus
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate required
Adeptness in Year-end Audits
Demonstrated knowledge of NetSuite
Experience with Audit Reviews
Deep understanding of SOX
Comprehensive knowledge of month-end closings
GAAP Accounting experience preferred
Command of Financial Statement
