Posting Summary
A postdoctoral research associate position at the base salary of $56,900 up to $65,000 commeasurable with experience, with full benefits per year for three years is available in the laboratory of Dr. Rong Di in the Department of Plant Biology, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The primary objective of this position is to apply the CRISPR-gene editing technology to improve agronomical traits in plants including turfgrass and sweet basil.
The applicant must hold a PhD. in Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology or Plant Biotechnology. A strong background in molecular biology, plant pathology as well as plant tissue culture are required.
Responsibilities will include the development and execution of research experiments, data analysis, quality control and keeping written documentation, manuscript preparation, result presentation, and working with collaborators and other members of the research team at Rutgers University.
