Shee Atika Government Services SGS - Pricing/Cost Analyst in Montgomery, Alabama

Shee Atika Government Services (SGS) is seeking to add a Pricing/Cost Analyst to the team.

The Cost Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare complex cost proposals IAW Request for Proposal (RFP), work breakdown structures (WBS), and basis of estimates (BOE).
  • Analyze and develop estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs against actual expenses, historical data, or price-to-win data.
  • Review contracts upon award or modifications, ensure conformance to submitted pricing proposal and payment schedule.
  • Perform analysis of costs and associated data for proposals ensuring compliance with all SCA/Wage Determination and DCAA requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with proposal teams, project managers and management team.
  • Analyze historical financial data, cost structures, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations for pricing decisions.
  • Evaluate the potential effect of pricing changes on overall profitability and the company's financial health.
  • Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
  • Gather and analyze financial data
  • Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
  • Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a Federal Government contracting environment functioning as a pricing analyst, business analyst, business development, contracting, project control, or finance/accounting role.
  • Expert MS Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Experience with Unanet ERP

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Description $65,000 - $85,000
