Job Description
:
Customer Service Representatives provide support to insurance adjusters, carriers, and their customers after severe storms and catastrophic events such as hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes. They may schedule appointments, take claims information over the phone, and help customers in their time of need.
Wage Rate:
$13.50 an hour to $15.00 an hour
Work Schedule
:
Seasonal. Hours vary. Employees may be required to work Sunday-Saturday (7 days a week), Days. 12-hour shifts
Job Duties:
Responsibilities include making initial contact calls and follow-up calls to Insureds. Customer Service Representatives track and stay updated with claims process and compliance. They research prior losses and receive the first notice of loss inbound calls. They ensure that agents are updated and notified.
Job Requirements
:
Must be 19 years of age or older. Must have excellent customer service and phone skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus. Must possess a valid driver's license. A high school diploma is required. Must have the desire to help others and a positive and compassionate attitude. Background checks and reference checks will be requested. Previous customer service experience and call center are preferred. Desired skills include data entry skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and multi-phone experience.
