Intern/Co-op - Functional Support Analyst (ERP) – Fall Term (September – December 2024)

We are looking for Functional Support Analysts (ERP) - Intern/Co-Op who enjoy helping customers troubleshoot solutions, can absorb new knowledge quickly, and apply the learning to make decisions and solve problems independently.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Current college / university students in business (e.g. Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Technology Management or a related program) (complete degree / diploma requirements between Dec 2024 and June 2025)

  • Some experience interacting with customers (e.g., retail, hospitality, service)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide concise & logical solutions to customers

  • Analytical skills with focus on detail to research options and recommend solutions that align with customers’ unique business processes

  • Strong time management skills to understand prioritization and handle cases at various stages independently

  • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams on complex cases

  • Demonstrated leadership potential (experience with volunteer opportunities, extra-curriculars, organized sports, school projects, student clubs, etc.)

  • Eagerness to learn to develop product expertise and stay current with new features

  • Availability to work full-time M-F 9am-6pm with scheduled breaks (Tue, Sep 3, 2024 – Fri, Dec 13, 2024)

  • The role will be hybrid – mix of remote work and meetings at the Mississauga office

Responsibilities

What to expect?

As a Functional Support Analyst (ERP) - Intern / Coop in the Customer Support Team, you will:

  • Participate in hands-on group training to learn about the NetSuite product, business processes and a variety of competency areas (e.g., communication, client relations, problem solving, case investigation) to effectively troubleshoot solutions for customers

  • Handle cases independently by applying an analytical approach to troubleshooting and interacting with customers (e.g., Accounting / IT staff & leaders) to respond to their inquiries about the Order to Cash process (e.g., sales, invoicing, payment)

  • Work independently and collaborate as a team to help customers best utilize the NetSuite product (e.g., resolve errors in data analyses, create custom reports or saved searches, review accounting preferences & features)

  • Participate in activities and contribute ideas that constantly help improve the Oracle NetSuite platforms and products
