Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Software Developer in the service industry, located in Houston, Texas. The role involves utilizing a variety of skills, such as Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS, and Microsoft SQL, to contribute to our team's objectives. You will be working with a focus on migrating from Essbase to Jet Analytics, recreating Essbase cubes, and building reports based on these cubes.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the migration process from Essbase to Jet Analytics

• Aid in the recreation of two Essbase cubes for improved functionality

• Assist in building reports based on the newly created cubes

• Participate in pulling data to recreate reports for further analysis

• Utilize Jet Analytics, which is built on a SQL backend, to execute tasks effectively

• Apply skills in Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, and Database to perform assigned tasks

• Leverage knowledge in EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, and API Development to meet job requirements

• Use ASP.NET, CSS, and Microsoft SQL skills for software development tasks Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer within the Service industry

• Demonstrated proficiency in Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, and Database systems

• Experience with EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, and CSS is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL is essential

• Strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferred

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies would be an advantage

• Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the software industry
