Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Hanover, Massachusetts. This role involves managing all accounting operations at our on-site location. Your primary tasks will include handling payroll, reconciling bank accounts, and managing accounts receivable and payable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll and bank reconciliation

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable

• Reconcile IOLTA accounts regularly

• Communicate and coordinate with financial advisors

• Oversee and manage quarterly tax preparation and filing

• Use QuickBooks for various accounting functions

• Maintain flexibility in working hours, with an expectation of 30-32 hours per week

• Start work at the earliest possible date

• Ensure compliance with ADP - Financial Services and Microsoft Outlook

• Utilize skills in Billing Functions and Bank Reconciliations. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services

• Expertise in Microsoft Outlook

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Skilled in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience with handling Quarterly Taxes

• Ability to perform full charge bookkeeping duties

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
