Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : As our Substation Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert in substation design. Your knowledge of distribution, sub-transmission, and transmission voltage classes (ranging from 120KV to 500KV) will be crucial.

• Project Management : From kick-off to completion, you’ll manage projects with precision. Your ability to juggle schedules, resources, and client expectations will shine.

• Client Interaction : Get ready to interface directly with clients. Your communication skills will be essential as you navigate business development meetings and build lasting relationships.

• Electrical Design : Develop cutting-edge electrical design deliverables, including protection and control design (think protective relays) and physical design.

  Qualifications

• Education : A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.

• Experience : You’ll need at least 7 years of substation design/work experience under your belt.

• Certification : While not mandatory, having a Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
