The salary for this position has been established at $6000 for each 3-credit hour course, and $2600 for each 1-credit hour lab. The University of Colorado offers a full benefits package. The Department of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a temporary, non-tenure track Lecturer position. Specifically, we are seeking candidates to teach BIOE 3040: Physiology for Bioengineers, in Fall 2024. This is a required, 3-credit, lecture-based course in the Bioengineering undergraduate curriculum and is taught on the Anschutz Medical Campus.Responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to: course instruction according to department expectations; course syllabus preparation per the approved institutional template; preparation of teaching materials for class in accordance with the program curriculum; preparation of examinations, quizzes, homework, and associated grading; maintaining posted office hours and attending recitation period for student consultations; revising curricula materials according to feedback from the department.

The Bioengineering Department was founded in 2010 as a cross-campus program that spans the Denver and Anschutz Medical Campuses of the University of Colorado. Since its founding, the Department has grown rapidly across multiple areas, and now houses an exceptional research funding portfolio, strong training programs including two T32 grants, and commitment to translating discoveries and inventions to the clinic.
