ABOUT APEX

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Supervisor role will report into the Supervisor position and will be a part of the Digital Strategy & Activation Team. This team works collectively to ensure that we understand and have a pulse on the media landscape, make smart investments with media partners, and plan and implement client media buys that best meet their business and marketing goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The expectations for this role fall into 3 important categories:

1. Developing Teams & Talent

  • Oversee and supporting training efforts of Specialists and Associates and they are progressing in their roles.

  • Review and support goals of Specialists/Negotiators.

2. Delivering on Our Value Proposition

  • Maintain partner relationships and help communicate client need to partnerships team.

  • Manage negotiations for assigned clients and campaigns.

  • Lead holding vendors accountable to APEX standards.

  • First point of escalation for campaign issues with partner.

  • Identify new opportunities and partnerships that support overall client needs.

  • Establish partner relationships across industry.

  • Oversee daily team negotiations.

  • Oversee decisions across team to shift media.

3. Managing Business & Operations

  • Understand both Strategy and Activation and can manage across on a high level account.

  • Oversee campaign lifecycle ensuring a smooth, error-free process and service on important accounts.

  • Last Touch QA for Specialists.

  • Understand end-to-end billing process and manage reconciliation and approvals for team.

  • Manage full process for high-level account(s).

  • Contribute to discrepancy resolution for assigned clients and campaigns.

  • Ensure Salesforce is accurate and up-to-date for all opportunities for accounts with oversight.

  • Oversee usage of tools and team input to ensure data accuracy for reporting, etc.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that's great but we do need folks with basic level of understanding of how media investment works.

  • 4 or more years of experience with Basic knowledge of media is important for success in this role

  • Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side

  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel)

  • Media financial knowledge is mandatory

  • Business financial knowledge is preferred

  • Basic understanding of the media landscape

Compensation Range: $70,000.00 - $117,500.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
