Part-Time Student Health Care Aide: Classified Position

Job Goal: The Student Health Care Aide will provide support for students health needs.

Part-time position: M-F (when school is in session) approximately 11:00 am-2:30 pm

Pay: \$15.00/hour Primary Responsibility to: Principal

Responsibilities (Job functions):

Promote a healthy and safe school environment by assisting administration and staff

maintain safe and sanitary conditions throughout the school.

Administer first aid in accordance with established first aid procedures.

Administer medication to students in accordance with school policy.

Perform and document head lice screenings, and follow-up

Perform other duties as directed by the Principal.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Preferred:

CPR certification preferred (training available if needed)

Diabetes awareness (training available if needed)

Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents

Awareness of confidentiality requirements regarding student information
