We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Engineer to support our Global Construction Team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in delivering multiple semiconductor construction projects on time and within budget. You will provide technical expertise, oversight, and guidance to local construction teams while encouraging a collaborative and efficient project delivery process.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Oversight:

  • Review and approve electrical design packages from local construction teams, ensuring alignment to global standards and project specifications.

  • Conduct technical reviews and provide expert guidance to local teams on electrical systems, equipment selection, and installation.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of global electrical codes and standard methodologies for semiconductor facilities.

  • Collaborate with internal collaborators (engineering, procurement, operations) to ensure project alignment.

  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies for electrical aspects.

  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior management.

  • Local Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with local Electrical Project Engineers to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.

  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to share best practices and global standards with local teams.

  • Assist local teams in resolving technical challenges and expediting problem-solving.

  • Build strong working relationships with local construction partners and vendors.

  • Conduct site visits as needed to assess project progress and provide on-site support.

Delineation Between Global and Local Roles:

  • Global Team: Provides strategic direction, technical expertise, and quality assurance oversight for electrical aspects of all projects.

  • Local Teams: Responsible for the day-to-day execution of electrical construction activities on their assigned project site. They perform detailed design, manage electrical contractors, and oversee field installations under the guidance and approval of the Global Team.

Basic Qualifications:

2-10 years+ of experience (depending on the level) in Electrical project work, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech construction industry.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management , Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
