Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Bookkeeper to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role primarily involves managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Keep precise records of customer credit.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly.

• Take appropriate actions to recover overdue payments.

• Reconcile accounts and maintain a clear job cost ledger.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.

• Perform bank reconciliations as required.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and month-end close processes.

• Manage and execute payroll tasks as necessary.

Requirements • Must have over 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is necessary

• Must be skilled in Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected

• Experience with Month End Close is necessary

• Must have prior experience in managing Payroll

• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Quickbooks Premier is required

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
