We are seeking an innovative and think big Group Manager, Compliance Quality to support the Prime Video Trust & Safety team and lead quality operations teams. Prime Video Trust & Safety programs aim to enable a globally trusted customer experience by ensuring that Prime Video provides content customers love and trust and accurate, meaningful and complete information to empowering customers to make informed viewing choices for themselves and their family.

Key job responsibilities

As a Group Manager, you are responsible for leading a team of Quality Team Managers, Quality Specialists, and Quality Auditors along with working with Policy, Program, Engineering, Legal and other teams to prevent violating content from appearing on Prime Video. Your team of associates with help of cutting edge tools and technology, will evaluate abuse trends and quality, and develop workflows and processes that maintain our quality and community guidelines. Your teams will review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.

*This role will require on-call work on weekends on a rotational basis.

A day in the life

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be well organized, assisting multiple Trust and Safety teams with different issues at any one time. Technically savvy with an interest in content moderation/data labeling, your verbal and written communication skills should be excellent, being able to clearly explain issues and the paths to resolution quickly and succinctly to the catalog associates. Your commitment to the success of our Trust & Safety org should be strong and you should have a proven record of exceeding on input/output goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations and people management

  • Experience interpreting data to make business recommendations

  • Experience managing large teams (30+)

  • Bachelor's degree in Managing Business related fields, or 2 years' equivalent and relevant work experience

  • Expert level in organization-wide initiatives that deliver direct business impact globally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma defect reduction techniques

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Risk Management & Compliance operations

  • Quality initiative skills

  • Proven track record of driving change and innovation.

  • Proven ability to understand and manage complex systems

  • Strong ability to source and analyze data to drive business strategies and decisions

  • Motivated, data-driven leader
