CACI is seeking a SPY/SPS/SLQ/Patriot Analyst that will support observations of threat Unmanned Systems (UxS), assessing flight paths of UxS via Intelligence Community available tools (MIST, THRESHER, YETI, etc.) and all available organic sensor data to provide dynamic support to United States Navy (USN) real-world engagements leading up to and through the execution of kinetic operations via maritime fires. The SPY/SPS/SLQ/Patriot Analyst position will leverage their sensor knowledge, merged with understanding of available Non Kinetic Effects (NKE) system capabilities in direct support of USN vessels deployed to hostile areas of operation in order to provide Indications and Warnings (I&W) support, operator support throughout kinetic operations cycle and conduct post-kinetic evaluations in order to determine sensor limitations in the UxS battlespace in order to determine best practices that minimize sensor limitations.

The candidate will be available and willing to deploy to the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) for a minimum of 1 year at a time rotating with other deployers and when not deployed provide analytical support and expertise in the abilities and limitations of Army Kinetic Counter Systems to the C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD area.

The desired candidate will have extensive experience in either Army or Navy Kinetic Counter Systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Advise and inform on operations regarding advanced United States Navy (USN) radar and ground-to-air missile systems.

  • Advise and inform on detecting, identifying, acquiring and engaging threat Unmanned Systems (UxS).

  • Advise and inform on the use of USN ground-to-air missile systems to neutralize UxS threats.

  • Advise and inform on operating surveillance radars and sensors to detect and identify UxS threats.

  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS (to possible conflict areas) on short notice to disseminate relevant threat information.

  • Provide comprehensive technical threat analysis.

  • Perform all functional duties independently.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI.

  • Requires Air Defense Artillery or Navy equivalent MOS background and have completed formal military training/school (e.g. 14A).

  • BA/BS or Associates degree plus 3 yrs. experience or 6 yrs. of experience.

  • Experience with Counter UxS (C-UxS) analysis and reporting.

  • Must demonstrate ability to provide I&W and trend analysis data on UxS TTPs.

  • Research unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.

  • Monitors and analyzes strategic and operational intelligence information.

  • Must successfully pass pre-hire medical screening.

  • Must be able to successfully complete CRC and deploy to CENTCOM theater.

  • Knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).

  • Knowledge of the Decide, Detect, Deliver, and Assess (D3A) cycle.

  • Proficient in utilizing standard MS Office computer applications and intelligence related automation systems to support analytical efforts and product development.

  • Ability to perform independently while in other locations and interacting with other organizations and military units.

  • Ability to communicate and function effectively in a team environment.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with UxS, to include multi-rotor and fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) experience.

  • Experience providing support regarding issues within the CENTCOM AOR or other specific COCOMs.

  • Present, discuss, and defend assessments to Staff Officers, Senior Commanders, other Governmental Agencies and the technical community.

  • Assist with development and maintenance of analytical policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of current events in targeting, customs, historical, assessment, and pattern analysis processes

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
